At Funky Studio, the development of new things continues as usual. Many things are tried out, but only a few make it to the finish line. The final touches are still being made, but you’ll be able to book this workshop within two weeks!
At Funky Studio, we’ll be working with HIMI gouache paint to paint concrete. A beautiful decorative plate, plant pot, or candle holder. But we’ll kick off the workshop during KreaDoe with the balloon dog.
The workshop is not yet available for booking, but that will happen soon. If it goes well during KreaDoe, it will become a regular workshop given weekly in Veenendaal.
Gouache paint is a newer type of paint that lies somewhere between watercolor, acrylic paint, and poster paint. They have, as it were, used all the good properties for this paint. The paint is 100% water-based, so you can wash everything off and even make it mixable again after drying. The paint is opaque, and you can easily paint white over black. The colors dry as they appear in the packaging. You can use more water for a vague effect and no water for an opaque effect. There are many colors, but the paint also mixes well.
