KREADOE: Tufting Workshop for Beginners

During this workshop, you will learn all the ins and outs of tufting.

What you can expect from the workshop:
– You’ll be guided by an experienced tufter (more than 4 years of tufting experience and 3 years of workshop teaching experience)
– You’ll transfer your pattern onto the canvas
– You’ll learn how to work with the tufting machine
– If interested, maintenance of the machine can be explained
– If interested, materials can be purchased to continue tufting at home. During the fair, you’ll get a discount or there will be a special fair offer.
– You will receive instructions for gluing your carpet.

Funky Studio has 4 patterns available to choose from or you can choose your own pattern. Keep in mind that the pattern should not be too detailed. You can find many possibilities on Pinterest.

We will bring plenty of colors to the fair for you to work with, you can use as many colors as you want.

You will receive a container of glue and instructions to glue your small carpet yourself. It’s nice because now you can take your work home immediately.
Furthermore, all necessary materials and use of equipment are included.

Additional information for the workshop will follow approximately one week before the start of the workshop.

This workshop starts at 09:30 or 13:30 and will last three hours.

For the workshop, you must be able to stand well (tufting is done standing) and you must be at least 14 years old.

If the workshop is sold out, I unfortunately have no more spots available. In rare exceptions, a spot might become available, in which case we will put that spot back on the website. Unfortunately, it’s not feasible to maintain a waiting list.

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is given during the KREADOE fair from Wednesday, October 22 to Sunday, October 26. Admission to the fair is not included in the price.
